A 4-year-old boy got more than he expected out of his Burger King Kids Meal.
A family was on vacation in Dundee, Michigan, and decided to pick up food from a nearby Burger King. They ordered a Kids Meal for their little boy only to discover that there was a smoking pipe wedged in the paper box. The boy’s grandfather promptly returned the meal and called authorities.
“It’s a sad situation when a 4-year-old is subjected to something like that,” Police chief Richard Uhl said. “It’s dangerous.”
Officials have tracked the pipe’s owner, a 23-year-old employee who admitted to hiding the pipe in one of the kids meal boxes. The pipe’s owner, along with two other suspects have now been charged with the illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.
