Watch: Flash Mob Surprise for Vice Principal Whose Baby has Cancer
Vice Principal Tara Dragon Hernandez took a year off from school when her son was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
When she returned to campus for the end-of-year assembly, about 800 kids and teachers formed a flash mob to Bruno Mars’ “Count On Me” in honor of the beloved principal and her son, 10-month-old Grayson.
“You know people are there for you but then to see that, when push comes to shove, it was beautiful,” Hernandez explained.
Baby Grayson is currently undergoing chemotherapy and now has 2% of active cancer cells in his body.
