7-year-old Rhett Krawitt is unvaccinated and it’s not by choice. This California boy just went through three years of chemotherapy for leukemia and is now still too weak for any vaccines.
“For 3 1/2 Years I took chemo to get the bad guys out. Now I can say gone with the cancer.” Rhett said in his speech in his school. “Soon we will say gone with the measles!”
The boy and his family are advocating to abolish personal belief exemptions of vaccines for his school district in Marin County. For the current school year, 5.89 percent of kindergartners in Marin County have a personal-belief exemption.
Rhett is not alone in his plea. Watch the video below for more information about vaccines.
