In her spare time as a mother of two, Alyse Ogletree also managed to beat the world record for the largest amount of donated breast milk.
Ogletree not only exceeded the prior record, but she also tripled the previous amount, donating a whopping 53,081 ounces of milk to the Mother’s Milk Bank of North Texas.
Ogletree started overproducing breast milk when her first son was born in 2011, prompting the mom to look into donating the excess milk. After the birth of her second son, Kage, she was producing about 130 ounces per day, allowing her to continue donating to the milk bank.
Before Ogletree, Amelia Boomker held the world record for her donation of 16,321 ounces of breast milk.
