After almost 20 years, the case of a missing 10-year-old Florida girl now has a major development.
In July 11, 1993, police were stumped with the disappearance of 10-year-old Andrea Gail Parsons. Witnesses saw the girl leaving her home in Port Salerno, and that was the last time she was ever seen.
Almost two decades later, last Thursday, the Martin County Sheriff Department finally made an arrest on the case. Chester Duane Price, 42 was officially charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping of a child under the age of 13.
Price who was a convicted felon and family friend was always a person of interest in the case. Police have not released any details surrounding the arrest.
“The investigation has concluded that Price abducted and killed Andrea Gail Parsons,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement. “Tragically, at this time, her body has not been recovered.”
