11 year old Justin Ward always wanted to be a firefighter when he grew up. Little did he know that he would start his training this early in the game.
Late Monday night, KTLA reported that Justin reacted quickly when he smelled smoke coming from the house. He woke up his little brother, prepared his family, and got his disabled mother out of the house as quickly as he could. As their house engulfed in flames, his family was safe, thanks to Justin’s quick thinking.
Cheers to North Carolina’s newest firefighter, Justin Ward.
